The Earth, My Giver

I had a lover
Who was like a mother
She was my model
I kept her in order
Until slaughtered she was
Polluted by her loved ones
She was maimed and she fell
That story I want to tell.

My daughter was a tiger
She was my River Niger
She provided the food I ate
Her name was the earth
After feeding the hungry
She is left in hunger.

The earth is left out in the cold
After utilizing her Gold
Her blooming health condition is gone
Due to a Freak weather condition
Her only friends are Desertification
Destruction and Deforestation.

How happy I will be if she is appreciated
Not left in a depreciating condition
Loved ones please restore and preserve
Her good attributes
Change your attitudes
Help recycle our daughter back to life
She is our sister.
